Baham Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Hamidreza Ensafian, who runs Baham as an individual ("Baham", "we", "us") for using the Baham app and website. By creating an account or using Baham, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Baham.
1. Who can use Baham
- You must be 16 or older.
- Use your real name, and give accurate information.
- Keep your email and devices secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Each person may have one account.
2. Being part of the community
Baham is built on trust between members. When you use Baham, don't:
- harass, threaten, bully, impersonate or discriminate against anyone;
- post anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or misleading;
- spam, scam, or advertise outside the business features meant for that;
- join a women-only event if you are not a woman, or misrepresent yourself to get into an event;
- share other people's personal information or photos without their permission;
- try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of Baham.
You can report or block anyone. We review reports, and we may remove content, cancel events, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we tell you why.
3. Events, groups and meeting people
- Events and groups are organized by members and businesses, not by Baham.
- Hosts are responsible for their events: accurate details, a safe venue, and following local laws.
- Guests are responsible for their own safety and conduct.
- Use common sense when meeting people you don't know. Meet in public places and tell a friend where you're going.
- Baham isn't responsible for what happens at events, or between members off the app.
4. Money between members
- Tools such as expense splitting help members keep track of who owes what. Baham doesn't handle these payments and isn't part of any arrangement between members.
- If a host charges for tickets, the host is responsible for the event, refunds, and any taxes.
5. Businesses, offers and vouchers
- Offers and vouchers are provided by the business that posts them, which is responsible for honouring them. Each voucher shows its value, its expiry and how to use it.
- Business listings and plans are approved by us. We may decline or remove a listing that is misleading or breaks these terms.
- Plan pricing is shown in the app. During the introductory period, plans are free for the first 3 months. We'll tell you before any charge applies.
6. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you post: messages, photos, event details and so on.
- You give us permission to store, show and share it within Baham, only so that we can run Baham.
- You confirm you have the right to post it.
7. Our app
- Baham, its name, logo and design belong to us. Don't copy or reuse them without permission.
- We keep improving Baham and may change or stop features.
8. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
- Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.
9. Disclaimers and liability
- Baham is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows:
- we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything members or businesses do;
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or AUD 100, whichever is greater.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Baham after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes go to the courts there, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
